Fra det yngste til det ældste – en eftermiddag med nyt fra byzantinsk musikforskning

Projektet Monumenta Musicae Byzantinae præsenterer en offentlig foredragseftermiddag.

Indledningsvis taler lektor ved musikvidenskab (IKK) Tore Tvarnø Lind om musiketnologi og byzantinsk musikforskning. Herefter får vi besøg af den tidligere Saxo-stipendiat Giuseppe Sanfratello, som vil fortælle om sine videre planer med studiet af nutidens byzantinske musiktradition på Sicilien.

Til sidst vil Donatella Bucca og Mariafrancesca Sgandurra (begge fra Tor Vergata-universitetet i Rom) fortælle om deres seneste forskning. De arbejder begge med nogle af de ældste musikalske notationsformer i Europa, de såkaldt ’Palæbyzantinske notationer’. Vi bevæger os således mod uret, fra det yngste til det ældste.
