VisuaLeague 2.0 and Digital Analytics
Visualizing the League of Nations Secretariat (VisuaLeague) is a research tool – initially created within the project “Laying the Foundations. The League of Nations and International Law, 1919-1945” (Independent Research Fund Denmark (IRFD), PI: Morten Rasmussen) – where users can (1) select, combine and search on nationality, gender, institutional entity, division and position within any given time span of the League Secretariat’s existence freely, (2) visualize statistical representations of your choices and (3) browse and download prosopographical data curated by you.
VisuaLeague was created by using the individual personnel files of the League of Nations Secretariat, and the prosopographical work of the LONTAD and LONSEA projects.
INNER_LEAGUE will develop a new version of VisuaLeague, VisuaLeague 2.0, in collaboration with UN Library and Archives Geneva, the Centre for Digital Humanities and Multilateralism (Geneva Graduate Institute) and the Centre for Digital and Computational Humanities (University of Copenhagen).
