Social and economic historian. Currently a PhD fellow at the Danish National Archives (Rigsarkivet) and the University of Copenhagen, where I am associated with the Link-Lives project. My current research focuses on inequalities in nineteenth-century early-life mortality.
My previous work has dealt with the application of various digital methods in historical research, most notably GIS (Geographical Information Systems). I have engaged in several interdisciplinary collaborations on such diverse topics as land use geography, cholera transmission and cold war maps.
