Culture and History - Student Research Papers

For English version, see below.

Se første nummer af tidsskriftet her: Culture and History -  vol 1 (2017)

Skrivevejledning og retningslinjer findes her.

Culture and History is an online journal which publishes articles written by students at the Saxo Institute at the University of Copenhagen.

Would you like to be published while you are a student? Are you following a course where the final product is an academic article or a different problem-oriented assignment? Is a part of your thesis suited for being rewritten or adapted so that others can benefit from your hard work? If so, then maybe you should contribute to the next issue of Culture and History – the place where Saxo students can present scholarly insights, as well as try their skills on a professional research article.

You can find inspiration below in the first issue of the journal. It covers as far-reaching topics as the prison system in Greenland, health and social work in the competition state, English-speaking white South Africans during apartheid, employee terms in an industrial corporation and recollections of the Danish colonial past in the Caribbean. The point is that the journal covers a vast amount of diverse topics, as long as they fall into the broader framework of culture and history.

The first issue of the journal can be found here: Culture and History -  vol 1 (2017)

The working process is an obvious opportunity to experience writing a scholarly article first hand. Incoming contributions will be edited and reviewed by the editorial board, so that the process corresponds to that which researchers must go through when publishing in peer-reviewed journals.

Guidelines and instructions for authors can be found here.

If you are interested in contributing, please talk to your lecturer or contact a member of the editorial board below.

We look forward to hearing from you!
